Is there any reason why the Eks in Eryth Sea are so glitchy? I had one battle where my party members decided to just stand around and stop fighting one, another battle where one ceased to be targetable randomly, and just now one randomly vanished into thin air in the middle of a fight. wtf

Honestly I really like it when RPGs include challenges where you have to specifically set up certain equipment to bypass it. Not enough games to do that. You go through so many games where you get stuff that resists like poison or whatever but you never ever feel the need to use them....

I remember in Xenoblade X there was literally only one enemy that had a trouble some spike, and I just equipped augments to resist it just for that one enemy and steamrolled it.

My only thing is if I want them on Switch instead or portability... I'd really miss the achievements though. FF games are one of the few were I deliberately try to 100% clear.

Yeah, that's what I had to eventually assume. Too bad Eryth Sea is just one big area. Feels like they could have reworked that.

Actually, what's weird is the autosave only activated right BEFORE I walked out of Alcamoth, a few steps from my manual save. But after I reloaded and started over, a new autosave was made AFTER I walked out of Alcamoth. I mean, it's not like either were helpful...

The autosave for this game kinda sucks. I had to quickly jump off Xenoblade to do something real quick in Animal Crossing, and in my haste I selected "Go to Title Screen" instead of "Save Game". Dumb mistake, and I knew I'd lose a little bit of progress, but I hoped an autosave would pick up some of the slack.

When autosave DIDN'T kick in:

• After about 7+ minutes of gameplay
• After completing three quests
• After filling in two categories in the Collectapedia
• After leveling up

When autosave DID kick in:

• 3 seconds after my last manual save

...way to go, game.

It's not that I'm showing restraint, it's that I just don't have much experience playing war civs, and my natural inclination is to be friends with everyone, so it's a bit out of my comfort zone. Why am I even doing these sidequests? What's the point? They don't even give anything good for them. I spent over 15 minutes warping around the world just to get these damn items than have like a 3% chance to spawn in order to complete a quest and in the end it's like "Thank you! Here, have some random garbage as a reward"
